Original Equipment Manufacturing

• Metro Metal & Design has been making quality equipment for original equipment manufacturers since 1983
  

Precision Laser Cutting

• production cutting of stainless steel through 3/4" thick
• clean cut stainless steel through 3/8" thick
• aluminum materials through 1/4" thick
• also...Laser Cutting of non-ferrous materials such as Plastic, Wood, Paper, etc.
  
  Metro Metal & Design utilizes a TWO TABLE SYSTEM which speeds up the process (and saves money for you!) by eliminating lost time due to loading and unloading parts.
  
  Programming is done from customer drawings, CAD files on disk or CAD drawings sent to us, conveniently & instantly, via email. In many cases, it is possible to be cutting parts in less than 30 minutes upon receipt of your CAD files.

Sheet Metal Fabrication

• we have decades of experience in manufacturing precision sheet metal parts, weldments and complete assemblies made from mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other metals
  

Custom Trailer Specialists

• we are a licensed dealer for all types of trailers, including - but not limited to: generator, landscape, utility and enclosed trailers

Precision Machining

• our machine shop is primarily to support our metal fabrication and machine building operations - plus we do production machining on our CNC vertical machining center
  
  

Machine Design & Machine Building

• we design & manufacture specialized machines and equipment per exact customer specifications, including air, hydraulic & electrical controls - we also build equipment per your existing drawings & specifications

Metro Metal & Design is proud to offer one of the finest Quality Control Departments in the Southeastern United States. Our QC staff performs in-process and final inspections to ensure parts of the highest quality are consistently manufactured.
